For the third year running, the six top clinical hospitals making up the Santeon hospital group have been proclaimed Top Employers. The Top Employer hallmark is extended by the international CRF institute. Companies and organisations are pleased with the certification, as it informs potential employees about their (first-rate) terms of employment, training possibilities and career opportunities. Today, CRF has published the list of Top Employers Netherlands 2011.

The Santeon Group previously acquired the hallmark in 2009 and 2010. The Group consists of the Canisius-Wilhelmina Hospital Nijmegen, the Catharina Hospital Eindhoven, the Martini Hospital Groningen, Medisch Spectrum Twente Enschede, the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis Amsterdam and the St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein. They all retain the Top Employer seal until mid-March 2012.
Santeon wants to distinguish itself on the labour market as top-rate employers, so participating hospitals can keep current staff members aboard and attract new talent. After all, the staff members’ excellence largely determines the quality of the provided care. To substantiate its ambitions as a healthcare institution and an employer, Santeon structurally invests in staff members. In this respect, CRF judged employers on five criteria: primary benefits, secondary benefits & working conditions, training & development, career opportunities and company culture.
For 2011, the CRF institute applied a new research method, which facilitated a more discriminating capacity in the judgement of certified organisations. CRF is an independent, internationally operating institute that collects and publishes reliable data on employers resulting from objective research. Only employers that according to CRF meet the highest standards in HR are certified as Top Employer Netherlands for one year. CRF annually publishes a Top Employers Guide and lists all Top Employers on the Internet.
