28.04.2011Santeon hospitals implement PulseWeb learning environment

On Thursday 28 April, four Santeon hospitals signed an agreement with PAT Learning Solutions. The Canisius-Wilhelmina Hospital, the Martini Hospital, the Medisch Spectrum Twente and the Catharina Hospital will offer their staff members training programmes through a shared digital learning environment. They have opted for the PulseWeb e-learning system from market leader PAT Learning Solutions. This should lead to an increased effectiveness and efficiency of learning within participating hospitals.

Training programmes and refresher courses in hospitals are very diverse. At the same time, the themes that hospitals see themselves confronted with are similar. From DTC registration to medical informatics or Management Development projects. A big advantage is that Santeon hospitals, owing to their excellent mutual rapport, can promptly provide high-quality answers. They can create and exchange their own learning modules. The modules are personal and reckon with level, learning style and pace. This is favourable for staff members, as they can log in wherever and whenever it is convenient.

Cooperation
Santeon hospitals aspire to achieve the highest quality of medical care, hospitality and innovation. The staff is a crucial factor in realising these goals. This is why Santeon hospitals are devoted to a joint HRM and learning policy, with a digital learning environment that has won its spurs in healthcare. This way, the hospitals can use each other’s modules and know-how and, if necessary, attune it to the local situation. This gives a great boost to their efficiency and effectiveness.
